Well, its out of my control so there's nothing I can do about it...except to say St. Elsewhere is one title I would buy immediately upon release. Even my wife keeps asking me when its due out. St. Elsewhere truly was "must-see TV" for us. What incredible characters/actors/story-lines, etc.

Also, Leave It To Beaver.

Just those two would be "heartbeat" buys for me. :D

It might as well be be never since I've neither seen nor heard any info that these two series have any sort of urgency attached to them. I may not live long enough for FOX to "get around" to getting these series released.

Here are a few more titles: The Life of Riley (both versions), Car 54 Where Are You?, Dennis the Menace, The Donna Reed Show, The Patty Duke Show, DoDo The Kid From Outer Space (anyone remember that one?), and Marine Boy.

I hope it's not a bother if I resurrect an old thread but as I was going through my old posts I came across my list of shows that weren't available that I wanted....How sweet is it that my utter favorite BW is all ready up to it's 4th Season!! And then we have all the Munsters including extras, IDOJ is waiting for it's 3rd season to be released and the Addams Family will be released later this month. Those are my top shows and I'm so glad that they are finally released. Back when I originally posted this over 2 years ago I never thought I would see any of them!

Now I know "Mama's Family" has been released but not to expectations so I'm holding off on buying it. And, frankly, once "That 70s Show" was released I just wasn't interested like I thought I would be.

So that just leaves "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Muppets Tonight". I know it's been said that "Muppets Tonight" will be looked at for release after the Muppet Show has completed it's run but nothing has been mentioned for "Sabrina".

Here is what my current list looks like:

Muppets Tonight
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
FANatical (it's a new Canadian TV series that showcases the lives of TV show fans and the conventions and stuff they do. I've only seen the Batman episode of this and it seems to be really well done.)
Jeannie (the HB cartoon)
The two IDOJ reunion movies (yes, they were bad but I still want them).

"ANGIE" (Donna Pescow, Robert Hays, Doris Roberts).

I LOVED this show as a kid. "Dharma and Greg" was heavily influenced by it.
It was on the air for less than 2 seasons (1979-1980), so I'm sure they'd have no trouble fitting all the episodes into one boxed set. ;)

Personally, I don't mind the resurrection of this thread since some things have really changed sine it was started over two years ago. How some of the lists have changed and how many shows are still on waiting lists.
On my part, I'm still waiting on a couple of mine although there has been volume 1 of Pinky and the Brain (with volume 2 scheduled for December release), first season of The Sentinel and 2 seasons of Emergency!
Still nothing on Prey; The Magician, Hawaii 5-O, Phoenix.
I am going to add Man from UNCLE; The Starlost; Primus and The Immortal.

While Network's release of "Man in a Suitcase" is R2, the earlier Umbrella Entertainment release (while pricey) is region free. This is probably my most prized set in my tv/dvd collection.

Yeah. So many shows we're still waiting for...but SO MANY have been released since this thread originally appeared!

The two "buy in a heartbeat" shows from my list: Leave It to Beaver & St. Elsewhere. We're now waiting on Season 3 of Beaver...and Season 1 of St. Elsewhere is due out in a month! :emoji_thumbsup:

With the pending releases of Grosse Pointe, 90210, and Melrose (all on the same day! Yay!), that's a good portion of my wish list.

Other shows I'd buy or wishlist, with some snarky comments on whether I'll see them (not in order):

The Watcher - Hmmm, low-rated, short run, obscure, only one C-list star, network no longer exists... This is probably the one show that will NEVER get released.
Hull High - Maybe when they release "Cop Rock" they'll get around to this one. I'm not holding my breath.
Parker Lewis (Can't Lose!) - Got a shot, though it's fading as the years go by.
Freshman Dorm - Good news: Only six episodes, so two DVDs should do the trick. Bad news: Nobody cares about this show either.
Duckman - I'm a little surprised this one hasn't been released already. I guess its relatively long run (4 seasons, 70 episodes) is working against it.
Lost - Had a better chance before that show on ABC blew up.
Roundhouse - Kid/teen show on kid/teen network that's too good for them, so hard to categorize. I'm not getting my hopes up.
Tracey Ullman Show - Birthplace of "The Simpsons", but a darned fine show in its own right. The Magic 8-Ball is showing "Signs point to no".
Savannah - The first season was great, the second season nothing special. Steamrolled by its replacement in the WB lineup. Spelling shows have been very slow to come to DVD, so it'll be awhile before we see this one.
