List of HBO movies with DD 5.1 audio muting w/Onkyo receivers (1 Viewer)

I have created a list of known HBO movies that have a DD 5.1 soundtrack encoded in such a way that causes problems with certain Onkyo (and possibly others) receivers. The problem is similar (if not identical) to the audio muting problem with certain DVDs (Pearl Harbor and Jurassic Park III, etc.) and their Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. With the Onkyo line the model effected include the 797, 898, 989. Here is a link to the thread with the list. Thanks.

Jay,
I just thought I would throw my two cents in. My Onkyo 696 / RCA DTC-100 combo has not exhibited any dropouts with HBO's DD 5.1 tracks, including the Cable Guy, the Net, and Swordfish.

I was wondering what was happening when the video and the sound was being would drop I thought that there was something wrong with my setup
