Anyone see the show last night? That was pretty wild. I don't remember anyone on the show being bleeped out so much. And how great was it for Michael Clarke Duncan to actually walk off of the stage, instead of pretending to like all the other talk-show guests?

Didn't see it, but let me guess...she did a lot of jokes about her being with a big black man.

I'll have to try and catch it on a rerun.

She was funny at first but as she progressed got a bit tiresome and boring. As in rich foods like cheesecake you can only eat so much at one sitting.

The only place I've ever seen her is the Comedy Central Roasts, and I've never found her funny. (The best thing about her appearance on the Shatner Roast was a joke made about her. Pointing to the table where Farrah Fawcett, Nichelle Nichols and some other 60s or 70s actress was sitting and then at Lamponelli, one of the comics quipped, "I'm stuck between women I wanted to f*** 30 years ago and one I wouldn't f*** 30 beers from now." The "black guys" thing must be a long running bit in her act, since I also remember somebody saying "Lisa's seen more black c*** than the urinals at the Apollo Theater.")

Regards,

Joe

Set your recorder: Leno and Conan repeat a week later in the wee hours, 2:35am(?) I'm not sure if all the affiliates carry it though, or if they make more money running commercials for the latest ab exerciser, or something to cook a frozen steak in three minutes.

Lisa who?

Thanks for that. I knew they showed early am reruns, but didn't know how they were scheduled (i.e. which episodes would air when)... wonder why they don't mention that, like say "Missed Jay? Catch him next week at XXXX am." like they do when they mention watching shows online.

I like offensive humor, but I just don't get Lisa Lampinelli. It's just noise to me. As for the Michael Clarke Duncan thing, it was obviously just an act. I don't know if it was premeditated, but they were obviously just going for a laugh (unsuccessfully).

Something tells me Duncan didn't necessarily leave the stage because of the jokes. He did come back a little later, still smiling. The total time he was gone made me think "did he have to go to the bathroom?"
