Linn speaker tweeter replacement (1 Viewer)

My friend has an array of Linn Speakers in his surround system. A tweeter has gone out on one of the mains. I don't have the name or model # at hand but checking a dealer online the Kan model looks similar.
Anyway, a third party has declared the part irreplacable.
Could this be true?
I just figured a company like Linn would back up their products for a reasonable ammount of time.
Where can I check on this once I do pin down the model #?

Have you tried a Linn dealer, or the Linn website. The tweeters are soldered in. Good luck.
