I have four Sony CD megachangers:
    CPD-CX240, -250, -300, -450
I recently bought two CDP-CX455 changers ( I'm obsessive [IMG], actually I'll probably sell the 240 and 250).

When I bought the new ones, the salesperson told me that with the new ones, you can link three together (instead of just the master/slave), but he "wasn't sure how". Is this actually possible or is just an urban legend?

Yes, you can use the Control A1 II interface by connecting your CD players with a mini-plug (headphone cord). Set the master to CD1 or CD2 and the slave to CD3. This should all be in your manual. This gives you the following benefits:

    1) When you turn on one CD player, the other(s) will turn on.
    2) You can load the disc names from the slave player into the master player.
    3) You can use the MEGA control button on your remote to select a CD/track on your slave changer.
    4) You can cue up a song on one changer, so that it will start when the other changer is finished.
    5) You can have continuous music with the No-delay and X-fade options.

I'm not sure how this would all work with 3 changers; I haven't tried it.
