Oh I don’t know I was watching the Sci Fi channel last night and they were mangling some perfectly good lines. Just picture Ed McMan or this..
Seriously…I do agree. Two parts to create the synergy: Delivery and Content, although I’ve seen many scenes skating by containing only one half of this whole.
"Bond. James Bond." - as first said by Sean Connery in "Dr. No"
"I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!" and "How about a little fire, Scarecrow?" - Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West, "The Wizard of Oz"
"LET MY PEOPLE GO!" - Charlton Heston as Moses, "The Ten Commandments" (the way Heston's voice just booms pulls it all together!)
"Oh, s--t!" - as said by Brent Spiner (Data) in "Star Trek: Generations" (really hilarious delivery!)
And one of the most memorable two-person deliveries, from "Goldfinger":
Honor Blackman: "My name is Pussy Galore." Sean Connery: "I must be dreaming."
