My computer has a simple little "Line-In" jack in the back.
Now the thing I'm wondering is how I can put analog audio from VCR and audio tapes into my computer (sounds like I'm taking a step back, but I need to do it).
What kind of program would I need if any?
Thanks a lot people!

All you need is a Y-adapter for your VCR RCA audio connections to a mini connector. You can use pretty much any program that can record via your sound card. Windows sound recorder should work fine, but it doesn't have any editing capabilities. I like Goldwave, its shareware. Try a search for it at downloads.com.
