I figured you would say that so I won't bring it up again and let the dice roll as they please.I was testing what would happen if I turned it off. Nothing to it really.
I will leave it on for now @Robert Crawford and if it becomes a problem, it can easily go away.
It wasn't removed by me and it's still there. As mine was.
We need a dis-like combined with a sarcastic emoji so you’ll know I didn’t really mean what I wrote.I was testing what would happen if I turned it off. Nothing to it really.

It wasn't there before. Although it's definitely possible that I'm getting dumber. It wasn't removed by me and it's still there.
Yeah, I went to bed and it was there so when I got up and started reading this thread again, it was still there. It wasn't there before. Although it's definitely possible that I'm getting dumber.

That's correct. They disappear while turned off
It's good to know that cabin fever hasn't caused me to lose the ability to read. That's correct. They disappear while turned off
These reactions do not have any impact on someone's reaction score, so there is no true "impact" on anyone, other than a psychological one. While we all strive to be respectful in our discourse on HTF, disliking a particularly inane or poorly written post is an acceptable reaction and will hopefully not have a negative impact on the community as a whole. Who knows, it might even encourage more thoughtful posting from certain folks. My only concern is that since personal attacks are prohibited, some of these negative reaction icons may be a loophole to circumvent that rule.
Was that always the case as I swore that a "dislike" did negatively impacted the reaction score? If it doesn't impact the reaction score then that lessens my concerns about its usage. However, it could be abused by some posters involved in a personal beef with another HTF member as discussions have a tendency to get personal rather quickly for a number of reasons. These reactions do not have any impact on someone's reaction score, so there is no true "impact" on anyone, other than a psychological one. The ownership is in agreement that this is a safe experiment, but should we start to see the feature abused, we will take action.
I'm playing with it now. Do we really need Wow and Sad?
We have at least one member who has already posted more dislikes than he has posts himself.
Literally, Oliver? Or is that a bit of hyperbole?
