Just bought the DVD set, just wondered if anyone can explain why there is a CBS logo on the back cover when it was an ABC series

Just bought the DVD set, just wondered if anyone can explain why there is a CBS logo on the back cover when it was an ABC series

Because original networks mean nothing.

From what I can find, this show was a co-production of Aaron Spelling and Lucy. I believe that Paramount eventually wound up with this era's Aaron Spelling library, so CBS were the ones who were able to release it on DVD.

ah i see. though i suspect it was more gary morton than lucy who organised the series
