I think that the most likely spot that "Life" will be found is under the ice on Europa.

There is (intelligent) life in Europe? I thought it was overrun by the fierce tax-collector ants! (Remember that ant supercolony they found in Spain?)

Anyhow, I'm sure that future martian astronauts will need cross-country skis to navigate the polar regions (where else are they going to get their drinking water?).

Cees, I didn't know you were a hive-mind! Regurgitate anything lately? How many ants does it take to change a light-bulb?

I thought that this thread was going to be a serious discussion of the possibility of other Life in the Solar System. Little did I think that it would turn into comedy time. Too bad!

It's been discussed to death in other threads over the past year or so. It does get boring when you've seen the umpteenth article on the subject. :)

Don't worry...when we receive more hard data (and not just speculation from indirect evidence) it'll pick up!

I live in my HT room. Sure, I'll go to my room! (turns up the volume).

So, is the idea of a manned mission to Mars scrapped now?

What about a manned mission to Europa? I wish I could go - just think, how great would it be to go fishing on Europa? I mean, trout and bass are pretty boring really, but who knows what strange and eldritch things are swimming under that ice.

Or aren't swimming. It would be wonderful to find out.

Unfortunately the surface of Europa is a rather nasty place, radiation-wise....

But other than the radiation, it's a swell place to relax and enjoy some time off work.

So...a martian walks into a bar...

The bartender says. "Hey..we don't get many martians in here!"
And the martian says."At these prices, you won't see many more!"

What do you call a green martian?

Whiodf LJKSla

What do you call a blue martian?

Dead
