Even if it it turns out to be something natural, it'll still be interesting

Even if? Surely you're not suggesting that it could be something supernatural.

I don't view the possible existence of Extra-terrestrial life to be supernatural but that's what it could be. The Universe is too large for us to be alone but I doubt any of them are visiting us now. Some Scientists think the object around that star could be a Dyson Sphere, which would have to be built by someone, or it could be cosmic debris captured by a star.

Scientist have also been wrong many times when it comes to Aliens:

And it would be arrogant to think humans are the only intelligent life in the universe.

It's arrogant to believe we know things we do not.

Well, on your last point, there've been many times when scientists mistook aliens for mundane phenomena. J. Allen Hynek, who later become a big proponent of UFOs being extraterrestrial craft, was the one who attributed UFO sightings in Michigan in 1966 to "marsh gas" and "swamp gas" and got a lot of ridicule over it.

I think Project Blue Book went out of their way to explain away all UFO sightings, didn't matter how ridiculous the explanations sounded. I think some UFOs were Top Secret Military craft, maybe both foreign and domestic, some were natural phenomenon, some were hoaxes and others are unknown. I can't say they were Aliens or not because I wasn't there. It is interesting to think about.

Since you evidently know everything, please tell us if there's a God (aside from you, that is) and if there's life after death.

Are you trying to get me into trouble?
