Is the "Drive My Car" video on the DVD?

It should be since it is Heather Graham and the two Coreys in it, a direct movie tie in. And, it gets shown on VH1 Classics a lot so it hasn't been forgotten.

This isn't 100%, but I think Anchor Bay is trying to get a special edition out of this.

2 Corey commentary and music video.

Anchor Bay said they have stuff to put on the DVD.

    Lets hope its good stuff

This License to Drive DVD is LOOOOOOONG overdue! A Corey/Corey commentary would be neat.

Yes, that commentary would double the fun! Probably be the first one I sit all the way through.

IMDB lists this as 2.35:1. It says it was done in Super 35.

Is IMDB wrong or has the director changed the AR for the DVD release?

IMDB is often wrong so I hope that is the case. I get annoyed when the Director changes the Super35 AR for Home Video.

    So, no music video?

I don't know why DVD companies don't include more music videos on them. Especially for 80's films when they were as much of a marketing tool as the TV or theatrical spots were.

The "Drive My Car" video was an interesting one as well since the whole cast is in it.

It was shown on one of the cable channels (don't remember which), but in 1:66:1

If you look at the framing (even full screen), it doesn't appear that it was shot wider than 1:66 (let alone 1:85 or even 2:35). Everything seems composed perfectly as-is.

It's been many years since I've seen this, but matted to 2.35:1 does seem like it would have made the image very cramped on this one. The more I think about it, I doubt this is any kind of director-approved change to 1.85:1. That's most likely OAR. I think IMDB is probably just wrong. It certainly wouldn't be the first time.
