I just bought a Mits WW55819 and I have basic cable and optimum online. I heard that Cablevision may be sending some HD over their feed. If so, what do I need to receive it?

    Correct Ken,
By tuning OTA signals through your STB (HD decoder box) you'll receive Fox sports on 39, MSG on 38 and HBO on 61.
As far as STB's just do a search here or on the AVS forum. They start at about $400.
From your location, CBS-DT 56 off the Empire State Building should be accessable through the UHF section of a roof antenna. Rumor has it, the rest of OTA digital signal are being set up at the Alpine location (NTSC signals are there currently).
