I was surprised to see the new 83 inch LG is selling here in Canada for $200 more than the Sony 83 A90j !

Is this a result of Covid messing up availability of parts, shipping logistics and production runs ?

LG’s overpriced ($4k) 60hz 32” OLED monitor for alleged professionals is now available.

Actually considering all of the other professional grading monitors that sell for $40K + this is a very reasonable price. This is not a consumer grade display. Disney Pixar just purchased quite a few of these to master their films. Here's a Youtube that speaks about how they selected LG's new 32" OLED monitor for their reference grading monitors.

Now that the 83" C1 OLED is available for $5429 and the 86" QNED99 miniLED priced at $5249, I love to hear some thoughts on which would be the better buy for watching mostly movies (80%) and the occasional sports and gaming (20%) in a family room with curtained windows on the opposite wall.
