We just were approved for LG's very first allocation of the new 42" Flex OLED monitor.

This premium PC monitor features a motorized OLED display that curves to give the user the best possible immersive experiences when gaming or just using your PC.

I don't know for sure, but from what I'm told it has a modified and somewhat tamed ABL, due to the new EX OLED module.

All TVs can have the ABL disabled in the service menu. Of course this is not recommended and will void the warranty and the ABL is designed to help prevent burn-in and to not drive the panel and power supply to it's max capability for longer than the TV is designed to sustain.

This new TV would be good to test in person and to sit and use it to see all of the features and advantages. It was designed for serious gamers and as a PC monitor so the market is specialized so it does not compete with the mass produced C2.
