LFE channel for a sub-woofer...does it sound GREAT?? (1 Viewer)

I have the onkyo 500 receiver.

Does LFE mode for a sub woofer sound better than any other mode? Also, does the LFE mode sound better while playing Xbox games??

...people aren't rudely ignoring you, it's just that your question doesn't make sense in talking about the concept: LFE itself isnt just bass, it's the specific channel for low, low sound effects recorded in DVD movies. It plays best thru the sub when all other speakers are set to SMALL thru the receiver and Bass/LFE is set for SUB ONLY.

I use the LFE channel as well for everything and it sounds wonderful no matter what source I am using.
