When setting output levels on the BFd should I set the sub levels in the speaker output menu or use the peak limiter? I calibrate both the subs to the spl meter by using the volume located on the subs. When calibrating both subs to 75db's should I set each sub at 70dbs to allow for the 6 decibel gain with both subs being next to each other in the corner? The subs are a Paradigm Servo 15 and the new Von Schweikert S/3. Any tips would help. Will the sub output in the speaker levels menu read + or -?

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

You can do it either by adjusting the sub volume or the MC-1 level--the latter is easier for fine tuning as you can sit in the calibration spot and measure. What matters is that you achieve a calibrated level of 75 dB for BOTH subs combined. Whatever combination of knobs and/or level settings gets you there is fine.

    Cheers,
