Hey folks,

I have a bit of an odd question, here, hoping I can get some direction.

I have a few vintage TVs I like to play around with(including an ancient Hoffman I am restoring) as well as a small UHF-band transmitter to send signals to them.

The problem is, I'm wanting to split the video stream to it from my main display, which is 16:9. It's easy enough for me to spin up a computer or some other source that's generating 4:3 content, but I'd really like to just take my existing signal and letterbox it.

Do their exist devices that can do this in real time? E.G. take a 16:9 video signal from a source(such as HDMI), add horizontal letterboxes, and spit out a 4:3 signal on the other side?
