Nice to see Bruce finally get the chance to Walk the Walk.Think he'll ask his buddy Sam for a few pointers?[IMG]

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Renaissance crew at least make cameos in that one. It's not like Bruce hasn't directed before, and in some ways, a feature-length thing like this is probably easier than the TV he's cut his teeth on - there's much more flexibility.

Early word to Universal: We want this on DVD. With commentary from Bruce, Joe LoDuca, etc., deleted footage, storyboards, you name it.

Still, I kind of wish Sci-Fi had picked up the talk show he pitched to them a few years ago. When he did a book signing here last year, the desk and chairs were set up in talk-show format, and he was a natural.

I couldn't boycott Stargate SG-1's new home if I wanted to.

Considering that they are going to make a movie of one of my favorite books series AND have Stargate SG-1 I certainly won't boycott them. I will however stay pissed at them for the Farscape fiasco.
The Sci-Fi Channel has approved the making of Deadlands.
"DEADLANDS, an end of the world thriller with a “world ravaged by war and radiation,” based on a series of novels by James Axler. Vincent Spano (SILENCE, ALIVE) and Traci Elizabeth Lords (BLADE, VIRTUOSITY) star; Joshua Butler will direct (HUNTRESS, THE INVISIBLE MAN) and co-produce with Chet Fenster (DEATHLANDS: HOMEWARD BOUND, A SEASON ON THE BRINK). As much as I like Bruce, I'll wait for the DVD.

There's only one thing that will get me to end my boycott, and we all know what that is...

I'll watch movies and limited series on Sci-Fi.
I'll never watch another ongoing series on Sci-Fi again. Why would I start watching something that they will cut off at the knees with no resolution, despite previous agreements?
Sorry, Sci-Fi. No spite here, I just don't have time to waste.
