length of wiring issue for home theater setup (1 Viewer)

I want to set up a connection between my desktop PC and home entertainment center so that I can use Windows Media Center to record OTA tv. The PC and computer are in separate rooms. I will need to run 25 - 30 feet of cabling, including ethernet, HDMI, and a usb for the IR dongle (to use my Logitech remote to control the PC).

I'm concerned about the length of cabling and signal degradation. Is this an issue?

Nope. I do them all at that length, daily. Monoprice.com is my go-to for cables.

thanks. I read that the max cable length for USB 2.0 is around 20 ft, so I ordered an active extender cable.
