Left and Right front channel spacing. Recommendations. (1 Viewer)

Currently my Left and Right fronts are about 9.5 ft apart. Is this too far, too close, or juuusst right The reason I ask is I am in the process of upgrading my subwoofer,and I am trying to decided on a placement. It will either go between the two, or to the outside of the left one (in a corner). The sub is going to be a SVS, either the 25-31pci or the 20-39pci. Undecided.

Totally depends on how far away you are from them, and then on other factors like your speakers, your room, your tastes, and so on. As a very rough guideline, try not to stray too far from the equilateral triangle, so if they're 10' apart, that's OK if you're about 10' from the speakers.
