Currently my Left and Right fronts are about 9.5 ft apart. Is this too far, too close, or juuusst right:) The reason I ask is I am in the process of upgrading my subwoofer, and I am trying to decided on a placement. It will either go between the two, or to the outside of the left one (in a corner). The sub is going to be a SVS, either the 25-31pci or the 20-39pci. Undecided.
Thanks in advance,
DJ

Totally depends on how far away you are from them, and then on other factors like your speakers, your room, your tastes, and so on. As a very rough guideline, try not to stray too far from the equilateral triangle, so if they're 10' apart, that's OK if you're about 10' from the speakers.
Take a look at this, it worked really well for me, improved the sound of my speakers a LOT:
