I have a denon 3803, I set the remote up yesterday with codes to control all my components. I want it to learn the codes for going directly to -20db -10db etc on the 3803.
These codes are not preset into the unit so I will need to buy a remote that has these commands preset and then transfern them to the denon remote.
What is the cheapest remote available that can do these commands?
Am I missing something, is there an easier way to do this?

    Thanks.

    Harry,

It looks like you might need one of the OneForAll remotes and possibly a JP1 cable to interface with your computer. This is about the cheapest route that I'm aware of to get you to where you need to go.

Here's a couple of links to get you started:

    HiFi Remote Info.

    Remote Central Site

Also, under Yahoo! Groups, there is a JP1 group that you might want to join. Lots of files for various gear is placed out there -- you could download them and program them into the OFA remote -- then learn the commands with your Denon remote.

    Best of luck !
