I soooo hate installing the water filter behind my fridge. I can never seem to get it to not leak without multiple attempts. Always the fittings leak...

I thought I'd avoid the trouble this time and I had a plumber install it during my home restoration. I bought a three year filter for good measure...

Well, today it starting leaking. AAAAIGH!

I have a copper pipe running to the filter and to the fridge. It is clamped down tighter than a ... well, it's tight.

Any ideas on why it is leaking and/or a sure way to fix this?

Never had a problem with mine, but have you tried wrapping the threads with teflon tape?
