    Hi guys

I still have a few copies of The Fugitive, which was a promotional / test copy of the anamorphic LD format. It is meant to be watched on your 16x9 set's full mode. They are sealed / new in condition. Price is $75 plus shipping and I accept paypal.

I would be willing to trade for any of the following dts titles. The dts title would have to be in excellent condition:
    Dante's Peak
    Deep Rising
Getaway - got it, you have to love ebay
    Rob Roy
    Six Days Seven Nights

    email [email protected] if interested.

New price is $65.00 plus shipping.

I would much rather trade for one of the 5 dts titles that I do not currently own.

    Gregg,

I'm not very familiar with squeeze LDs, but I have always wanted to try one out. Can you give me a little background? I don't have a widescreen display, just a Sony Wega with a 16X9 mode. Would I get anything out of this disc?

I do have a Dante's Peak DTS LD. I bought it new last year and it has been viewed a couple of times. It is in superb condition. I'm just not sure I'd want to trade it for this, since I already own The Fugitive on LD and am not yet sure I'd see any benefit from the squeeze factor.

These "Squeezed LD" were 16x9 LaserDisc produced in the mid 1990s as a promotional item for purchasers of Toshiba's old 16x9 (non-HD) analog RPTV. The promo movies were all from Warner Brothers pressed by Pioneer. There was also a small selection released in Japan of Live Entertainment (Artisan) titles.

here is a listing of them.

    hi guys!!

    Tony pretty much nailed it.

If your sony set does the 16x9 squeeze mode, then the title will correctly play with approximately 20% more resolution.

Let me know if you want to trade for Dantes Peak.

    thanks!
