I always wondered why LCDs on digital cameras look so different than on Pocket PCs. On all the digital cameras I had the pixels look blurry like on CRTs and you can kind of see the screen vibrate (low refresh rate I guess) even on my high end sony 5MP digicam.

But on my Pocket PC the image is crystal clear like a window into another world. Why do the screens on digicams look so bad (compared to PPC screens of course) if it's the same screen type? The pixels dont look the same at all.

Thanks

TFT is a type of LCD screen, just like CSTN, and others.

And in the specs of my Sony CD500 digicam on steve's digicams it says the CD500 also has a TFT screen, but they look very different.

I would suspect that the pocket pc screens just have a higher native resolution.
