LCD TVs: Amount of Electric Usage (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know the comparison in electricity used, presumably in watts, between a LCD and a cathode-ray TV? I presume a 27" cathode-ray receiver uses about 100 watts an hour, so I much would the 32" LCD use?

Instruction manual usually talks about power consumption. Varies with the mode you use on the TV and the material you watch.

To get the specific metric you were asking about, take the last column and divide by 0.215423. That will give you power consumption in watts per hour.
