I have seen a webpage for instructions on how to build your own projector with a regular tv for $20, and $20 in materials, I can't imagine that being possible. Anyone heard of or tried it?

Think about it.. If it were true don't you think we'd all
be bragging about it? I mean why did I buy a 3K RPTV and
why am I contemplating the purchase of a 12K Plasma if for
$40.00 I could have something as good?????
Can you do as the instructions say? Yes.. Will it give you
watchable output? Yes.. Will it be clear? No... Will it be
focused? No...
Is it a Scam? Legaly no.. Morally yes.. It's legal because
it does work. It just doesn't work good at all and that is
nothing more than deceptive marketing.
