    Hi,

I have had this DVD player for a little over a month now (Sony DVP-NS700P). Recently I have noticed that during a layer change, the player seems a bit rough in adjusting. You can actually see it pause and hear the player making the adjustment. Is this normal for most DVD players, is this just a problem with this certain model, or is my player already starting to 'bite the dust'? Thanks to anyone who may be able to offer some insight into this distraction while being submersed into a film.

    Steve

It's funny how the first generation Sony DVP-S7000 still has the best layer changes of the Sony's. And there was no noise.
