TVShowsonDVD (who else?) reports the second season of L&O streets May 4th. Thank goodness! This takes a little bit out of the sting that we probably won't see anymore NYPD Blue sets.

I am wondering the same thing. My wife has had that $10 coupon safely tucked away for a loooong time. This is her favorite show.

Hopefully this will sell well and future seasons won't have an 18 month gap.

I am too excited now about the release of Season 2 of LAW AND ORDER! I've been waiting for this one since the release of the first season!

I didn't purchase Season One as it's not the season I wanted but i've been craving two as it's the season Paul Sorvino joined the cast! I just think that there was a better chemistry between him and Noth than Noth and Dzunda! Plus the stories were better in Seaso Two.

L&O is my favorite show and i'd actually would like to collect seasons 2-5 during the Michael Moriarity era.

There are extensive existing threads about this if you want detailed info, but the gist of it is that Universal experienced some corporate turmoil last year due to an ownership change and a number of quasi-announced projects (Rockford, original Dragnet, etc.) fell off the radar and existing product like L&O got put on the backburner.
