That is great to hear! Sons Of The Desert (1933) has never looked good in any of the previous North American based Home Video releases, and its at times severe muddy contrast issues was my biggest disappointment of the otherwise generally very good Essential Collection set. The less said about the Hallmark DVDs (IE. Lengthy TV commercial spot pauses, oy vey!), the better!Have the dvd and did a quick comparison to my other two dvd sets with Sons of the Desert and a big improvement in picture & sound. Looks very nice with very little film damage and i am sure the Blu-ray's will look even better. Can't wait to see the bonus extras too.
CHEERS!
