Latest word on Gilligan's Island - Season 2? (1 Viewer)

I did hear Rumors from Dave that Season 2 was in the works.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 --- the quality is outstanding and I have re-watched every episode (several times over for some of my favorite episodes). Any word of Season 2 and when it would be released? The colored episodes have some real classics!

The only thing I can relate to is another thread on this forum which mentioned that Russell Johnson had indicated in an interview that Warners is negotiating with the cast of GI about their participation in S2 special features. That would seem to indicate that S2 is very likely to occur. If the parties were able to reach an agreement for cast commentaries, etc. all the better.

I agree with you Dave about there being some really great episodes in S2 and S3. If I remember correctly, S1 just came out in February so it could be awhile before we see S2.
