I'm wondering if anyone is having trouble w/their mouse after they download the latest security update for Windows XP(KB828028). I did this twice - once it was installed and I rebooted my system my mouse doesn't work. I had to used the system restore to get it back working. Is anyone else having this issues?

I'm using Windows XP Pro and have all the latest updates except for this one. Any help would be appreciated!

    -thx in advance,
    bruce

I've got it installed on my two XP boxes at home but I've not noticed any problems so far.

It's not uncommon for MS patches to have weird and apparently random effects. The MS03-048 IE patch caused an odd anomally with the scrollbar on web pages.

Is there anything unusual about the mouse - USB or special drivers?

No problems here either. I downloaded it a couple days ago when Rob G posted about it here.
