Is Last House On The Left actually banned in Canada?

Is it banned, or does MGM just not have Canadian release rights to the film?

I remember the trouble I had getting Naked Lunch on LaserDisc, back in the olden days -- most Fox LDs said "For sale only in the United States, its territories, and Canada", but when I finally got a "grey" copy of Naked Lunch, it said, 'For sale only in the United States and its territories".

See, Alliance owned the Canadian video rights, but weren't going to release their own LD.

Alliance did release an LD of Pulp Fiction: they bought a pile of the Miramax discs and stuck Alliance stickers on the front cover and over the Miramax logo on the back. But on the upside, it was dirt cheap!
