Two things will make my LD viewing better: 1. No more SVM, which creates Halos around everything, including Noise! and 2. A further viewing distance. I need to be back another 3 feet before LD starts looking at least like SVHS, but my living room is too small for that. Oh well.
The BLUE is slightly out of focus, which I have read is done on purpose. To get it just right, I need to do the full 64pt convergence, so I'll be ordering the grid thingamabob from Panasoniic.
All in all, this new-new set is damned terrific and I am very pleased. I look forward to having it ISF'd this Fall.
Where can I learn about Duvatyne and what it does?

Matt, did you do the hardware fix to get rid of SVM? Can you give specific instructions as to what you did?
