I don't own a LD player, but I saw that http://www.dvdplanet.com is having a sale on LDs between 2-5 dollars. Just thought those that do own LDs would appreciate this.
edited to say that I was checking it out and the sale ends October 31. and NO, I'm not a rep of the company. Just a greatly appreciative customer.

http://www.lasersedge.com/ is selling a bunch of used laser discs. Not sure if you can buy them over the 'net, it may be a locals only thing. Most expensive title I saw was a new copy of the THX Star Wars for $15. Saw Phamtasm autographed box set for $8 I think and a few Alien box sets for $7.

Hey Mark, didn't know you were a local. I'll have to get you on the mailing list.
I was just in Lasers Edge last night.
I picked up Escape from NY for $5 (for the commentary), a few music titles (Clapton, Paul Simon, etc), and Bringing Out the Dead (didn't own the DVD yet and for $5...).
I saw both Alien(s) box sets, Back to the Future 1 (I believe), one of the original trilogy (for $15). Oh yeah, that nice Phantasm box Mark mentioned. There were several titles unopened.
I would bet that Marc at LEdge wouldn't mind shipping some to you, but the problem probably is that they won't have a nice list online or ready for email on these.
