Ed takes Sam and Danny on the road to New Orleans to track down a rich kid who owes the Montecito $4.5 million.

Mike is in charge of a wet t-shirt contest.

Mary has to deal with a guy who won the $360 million powerball lottery and uses the money to lord over his family, and they finally get tired of it while in Vegas, and cause a ruckus in the casino.

    Sam visits a voodoo lady.

It was great to see Mary get smacked by a cream pie.

Mike was going out of mind with the wet t-shirt contestants.

Danny meets A.J. (a female version of him, played by Lola Glaudini), and Ed gets reunited with Dennis Hopper, who's running security at a New Orleans riverboat casino. I enjoyed Lola Glaudini with her cajun accent and flirtatious personality, much more enjoyable than when she's on The Handler.

I thought the episode stunk personally. The sfx were overly cheesy and the plot was just ridiculous. I also thought the accent sounded forced. Just my $0.02 though...

    I concur....weak episode....great contest!

Question: I finally got an antenna about a month ago. The first episode of Las Vegas we watched was widescreen. The last 2 have been standard 4x3. Is this the show, or something freaky going on in my setup? Yes, I'm watching the digital channel (5-1 in Chicago).

In Atlanta, we also got the non-HDTV feed, but for the 4x3 SDTV feed, the show looked crisp, just not conforming to the 16x9 aspect ratio.

I would have given a dollar for Dennis Hopper to say:

    [cajun]Pabst Bleu Ree-BON!!!![/cajun]

Las vegas is behind in production for some reason. To go out HD NBC has to have the HD master like a week in advance or so I have read. Anyway the last two weeks have not been HD because of this problem. Hopefully they can get the next one out in HD.

Absolutely terrible episode. Three bad episodes in a row, and this show is off my list. The New Orleans plot was awful, and about 1% accurate. I live in New Orleans, and it had to be one of the worst portrayals of New Orleans ever put to screen. One, the bayou isn't a walk from downtown New Orleans. Two, no one speaks French in this city. Three, unless you head to the southernmost part of LA or to North LA, no one has a cajun accent like that. Four, people with cajun accents don't talk like that. Five, you get in a fight at Harrah's down here, the NOPD will beat the crap out of you; fights don't last that long.

Basically, I watched the show because it was a guilty pleasure. But I won't watch anymore because ofits lack of story and offensive and sterotypical redneck/dumbass portrayal of New Orleans.

And was it me, or was that the worst wet t-shirt contest ever.
