    Hey now !
Two questions - Anybody know if we're going to get the second series of this absolutely brilliant show on DVD ?
And does anybody know what happened to the commentary tracks on season 1 ? Garry Shandling mentions having recorded them during the interview in the box set, but they are nowhere to be seen. Sorry - heard.
This show got pretty badly treated when it was shown over here on terrestrial, so I'd love to catch up on the seasons we missed. How's it regarded in the US ?
I know - that's three questions. I got carried away.

I brought this up earlier this year.

The consensus view, don't wait up for it. The first set was over-priced and as a result sold very poorly. I don't think CTHV will touch it again. Which is VERY sad.

I too fear that this ship has sailed. Since sales apparently didn't pick up after the markdown (even though the markdown was from >$50 to >40, still not cheap enough, and not advertised at all) I presume Columbia decided to ditch this series. They certainly have refrained from commenting on the matter.

The discs are all DVD-5, unlike 90% of the TV shows out there on DVD.

If you divide out the cost per episode, this set is an awful deal even at $40. If they wanted it to sell, they should have priced it better.

Saw S1 in Best Buy tonight, asked if the $47.99 price marked on it was correct. Chickie says "of course it is", and I urge her to look it up anyway. Turns out it's $39.99 (with an SRP of $39.95!), so she asks me to put it back on the shelf for her.

I stare at her and ask "don't you want to reprice it?"

    "Oh yeah!" [IMG]
