Thanks for the info Dave! I've been waiting for this series to be released on DVD. I guess all those threatening e-mails finally paid off. I just hope the A/V quality is good.

EXCELLENT! There are some extremely expensive 2ep a volume/disc releases in Japan, about $1 per minute, but this R1 release probably means we'll get all seasons, and the retail price of $100 is pretty good, will be able to get it for $55-60!

can anyone tell me if i should pick this one up? ive never seen it but im a huge alias fan and remember there being some similarities here.

anyway, let me know if this is a buy or a rental. (y'all were helpful on dark angel - a resounding no)

It's not widescreen, and it's not a 7 disc set. DVDFile is wrong.

This is great news! Too bad I'll have to wait until July for it.

LFN is superior to Alias IMO, it's edgier, the actors are more believable operatives, and the backbiting was more interesting. Plus it was always more entertaining watching them create scenes and situations with a more limited budget.

The premise behind Section One and how everyone is forced to participate I find extremely unbelievable, and the limited budget for outdoor location sets sometimes is painful to watch, and Peta is too old for her character (street kid?), but Nikita's ongoing dilemma and her hot/cold romance makes the show quite entertaining (until the regrettable final season). If it weren't being shown every night here, I'd consider getting it.
