    Quick question for anyone in the know. Is there a dvd release of Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita being planned for the near future?

    It's already available in R2 (I have a copy on my shelf). The transfer is okay, but nothing special.

    I concur with Andrew, I also have the R2 version, and it's nothing exceptional, but a good transfer of a reasonable print, as one would expect from a film from this era.

    That "Hopefully" in his e-mail still doesn't make me feel certain that they can get the rights from Artisan.
