The question has been asked elsewhere recently, but I didn't see any answers - so, has anyone here any idea of whether there are any plans for SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE to be re-released on DVD in the near future? People are asking $199 for it on Amazon.

PS Does anyone know of any other DVDs based on Vonnegut writings?

    I think CAT's CRADLE might be filmable.[IMG]

I think the Sirens of Titan would make a great sci-fi epic. [IMG]

Mother Night - an incerdible movie, and an incredible DVD.

Produced by Robert B. Weide, also screenwriter. Also producer of the brilliant Curb Your Enthusiasm TV series Weide is making a doc on Vonnegut too, as well as writing the screenplay for Sirens of Titan.

    Sirens was a great book.

Mother Night is out on DVD, and the Bruce Willis version of Breakfast of Champions is out as well (in region 2).

Breakfast of Champions was, If I recall, appalling. Defo one to avoid.

Thanks! Great recommendation for MOTHER NIGHT.

It was a gem, not sure if I know if the protagonist was a double agent or not, or just one of us who feels guilt.

Was there a real guy like that? Lord Ha Ha, Ezra Pound, and Tokyo Rose were real.

Wasn't Breakfast of Champions one of the DIVX titles that never made it to real DVD?
