I'm working this early Thanksgiving morning, and channel surfing (work in radio, and the rest of the staff has off). Anyway, I fall on Sci Fi, and see their broadcasting Superman in Widescreen! It's not much, but I just wanted to express my gratification for this programming choice!

Yeah, Superman is one of the films that SCI-FI shows on a semi-regular basis and they seem to always show it in Widescreen. They used to show the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies in WS too, but I don't see those films played on SCI-FI much anymore. Yes, it is Great that SCI-FI does this, but, there are still many movies that are not shown in OAR on that channel. Hopefully one day they will show all movies in OAR

And now I see them showing Superman 2 in a Pan and Scan.

    I revoke my kudos.

Yeah well, SCI-FI channel just took the nosedive of all nosedives in my book!

    They are playing "Apollo 13"![IMG]

I'd like to know who's moronic little mind puts a very VERY "non-fiction" acadamy award nominated movie on a channel devoted to science FICTION!!! [IMG]

"Apollo 13" makes more sense than their recent broadcasts of "Braveheart".
