For all of you that rant about the way that Wal-Mart seems to be "Full Screen Friendly", here is feel good story for you.
Walked into my Wally world at 6:00 am before work this morning to buy the LOTR disc, and much to my delight, in the first three levels were all "WIDESCREEN" version. I actually had to take a double take to make sure I wasn't just really tired. I had to look for the full screen, but of course I bought the WS.
Yes, I've been bitten by the Wal-Mart Full Screen bug with HPATSS, but I felt they deserved a little recognition for three reasons:
1) $16.97 for DVD, nuff said.
2) WS was on top and easy to access
3) the cool cheap movie poster they gave you for free
I must be blessed with a WS movie buff.
