Kudos to them for having the balls to show "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut" completely unbleeped and unedited. Granted it did start at 1:00am. But a good sign for unedited content on cable (not including Premium channels)

This isnt the first time theyve shown it unedited. I remember them showing it on July 4th.

Wow. That takes stones, even at 1 in the morning. It's a holiday, afterall! Most Americans don't work today, and are apt to stay up.

    But it's interesting.

I Tivo'ed this and while the potty language doesn't bother me it really amazes me that they could get away with using the F Bomb like that even if it was 1 AM. Not the best movie but Kudo's to Comedy Central for showing it unedited.

I remember NBC or ABC played Schindler's List uncensored, uncut, and commercial free once or twice.

But SP is a WHOLE 'nother league!

I second the kudos to CS. I have never seen the south park movie and I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt. I am now picking it up on DVD.

I was waiting for the bleep bleep bleep bleep...which never came and that is a very good thing! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

For those who are interested, the episode where they say "shit" 162 times is on thursday at 9:30. They didn't edit the fuck's out of it when they originally aired it but we'll see if they do this time. It's a great episode if you haven't seen it.

It's on again right now. It's so fucking weird hearing "fuck" uncensored on television over and over and over again. [IMG]

I think BLU's one of the best comedies ever. I've seen it probably 15 times and it's still as funny and entertaining as the first time.

I have a feeling they're going to begin doing this with more movies now oh CC. According to commercials I've seen recently, they're calling this the CC Secret Stash - movies that can only be shown late at night. According to CC.com's schedule next week's movie is "Rolling Kansas." Never heard of that one before, but here's the one sentence plot outline from the IMDB:

Comedy Central has also shown the HBO comedy special (the one for the homeless) with Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams unedited and uncensored, and they showed this one at prime time. I saw this one a few years back so im not sure why they where allowed to show that at an earlier time but kudo's once again.

Earlier this week when Bob Kerry was Jon Stewart's guest on "The Daily Show" Jon made an expletive and Bob asked "Was that bleeped?" to which Jon answered "Yes, the FCC is on to us."

Kudos to CC for showing the South Park movie un-bleeped. I'll let others argue about whether its "un-edited".

I think the "only" edit was showing it in pan and scan.
