P.S. Anyone know what color the front panel display LED is on the 7.1?
Krell says they have reworked about 90% of the electronics. The new unit will feature improved video switching and audio throughput, 7.1 analog inputs, flash memory, two zones, THX Ultra certification, and will decode THX Surround EX, DTS ES 6.1, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS NEO:6.
Is it worth it? Probably. For me, it will be worth a lot that it can do the video signal conversion (for example, composite to S-Video).
I don't believe the display has changed, but I'll check into it tomorrow and re-post.
the 2sec delay when switching btwn sources is a real pisser
have they fixed that in the 7.1?
The color of the display has not changed. I'm not sure about if the delay is still there, but I'll be able to find out in the next few days.
