I think there was actually a case in France in the 50s where a farmer died of being raped by a bull. The local court proceeded to try the animal solemnly for murder and sodomy, and when the evidence presented showed that the guy was a klutz who had brought his fate on himself, returned a verdict of "justifiable homicide" and let the bull go.
