Kmart goes HD DVD stand alone exclusive (1 Viewer)

Like Target with Blu-Ray, Kmart is going HD DVD stand alone exclusive through at least the holiday season. Where Target still carries the 360 and the HD DVD add-on, Kmart will still carry the PS3.

Really not surprising that walmart and k-mart are going with the less expensive hd player. Target is the oddball here. Walmart and K-Mart are catering to people who are looking at cheaper alternatives to hd.

Question is, will K-Mart be around much longer to sell them?

And I'm also wondering if this means Sears will be going HD-DVD olny also?

Yeah, I don't know about anyone else but there's one K-Mart (and it's financially failing) in a 50 mile radius in my area and there's probably 4 or 5 each of Wal Marts, Targets, Best Buys in that same area.
