How does the Tivoli Henry Kloss Model One Radio (http://www.tivoliaudio.com/pM1BLU.htm) compare to receivers as a tuner?

First of all, using the (rec) line out of the Kloss, is it monaural or stereo?

I'm using the tuner built into my Onkyo SR500 receiver and its sensitivity (17.2 dBf in stereo) is not what it could be in FM and the AM doesn't work. At $100, the Kloss seems a good possibility. I don't listen to radio enough to justify spending $300 on a NAD. Any thoughts?

thanks,
Sathyan

Sathyan,

_somewhere_ off from the page you linked to.. from TivoliAudio

guess it isn't stereo - Model Two is but its a bit more than what you want to spend; have you looked in Ebay and Audiogon?

there's a NAD 4155 currently going for $80 on eBay
