I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new pair of RF-7's and a RWS-15 for 800 dollars. Does anyone have any experience with these speakers audio quality wise, and their resale value incase i dont like the sound?

    Thanks,
    Steve

The RF7s retail for $1100 each and the RSW15 for $1800. If you can get these new for $800 it's a steal. Jump on it immidiatly. If you don't like them you can make your money back easily.

Yes the Onkyo will drive them. But you will eventually want to get better amplification. The Onkyo will not drive the 7s to thier full potential. Yes the 7s have high sensitivity but they also have an impedence dip down to 2.8 ohms in the lower bass frequencies. For now you would set them to small and cross over to the sub at 80hz. Later when you get better amplification you can run them large or at a lower crossover point.

You can also get good advice about the 7s on the klipsch forum.
