Klipsch RF-5's or Synergy F-3's ?? (1 Viewer)

Thats basically what it boils down to right now. I can get the Synergy F-3's for 400 a PAIR brand new with warranty ETC. My dad has owned a pair of RF-5's for about 2 years with basically no USE, they have pretty much sat in his house for a couple years begging to be utilized. I worked out a deal with him. Since I can get the synergy's so cheap, I would give him those and he would give me the RF-5's, because either way I'm getting either speaker for 400$ a pair. I absolutely love his RF-5's but just seeing what you guys think.

did you ask at the klipsch forums?

given that choice, i'd be inclined to take the RF5s. the F3s are more similar to the RF35s, not the RF5s. the RF5s are definitely a better speaker.
