I have the opportunity to purchase a pair of Klipsch Pro La Scala's locally. Had a few questions that I hoped some of you guys could help answer:
1. I currently live in an apartment but am looking to move into a Condo or townhouse sometime within the next 6 months. I know I will not be able to enjoy the La Scala's at full volume until then, but how do they sound at apartment-friendly volume?
2. How well can these integrate into a home theater setup? I know timbre-matching is key, what are my options in terms of a center channel and some surrounds?
3. Since these speakers have a 102db sensitivity, they don't require much power to drive them. However, from what I have read, they need clean power. Any opinions on driving them with a Panny XR70 digital receiver?
4. Lastly, I guess I don't know if it is worth the hassle to replace my Acoustech horn-loaded setup with these La Scala's. I can't make any real convictions about their sound as I haven't heard them yet (I will be listening to them tomorrow), but getting into speakers such as these would require much more investment in the future in terms of other speakers, a sub, etc. I know this questions is more of a ramble, but any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
